Did you know that U.S. President Barack Obama only allows his children - Malia and Sasha Obama - to watch TVs on the weekends? There is certainly no way to watch TV during the week. Tom Henderson of Parentdish.com wrote, "Their father, the leader of the free world, exercised what many tweens would consider an abuse of executive authority. He decreed no TV during the week. Only weekends."

Sapper Crapper

No doubt this is a very hard course but these guys are not used for there intended purpose. In fact there not Explosives experts at all. They do have moderate training in demo but its sub-standard compared to the true explosive experts (EOD). They handle ten times if not more explosives than the engineers, not US but foreign as well. This downed pilot theory is BS as well, Sappers don't do that job, Rangers, Seals or any other type of SOCOM entity will take care of that as well (sometimes Pathfinder elements too). A prime example of that was the downed F15 in Afghanistan in 2009. Guess what? no sappers were there. Sappers anymore or combat engineers are infantry with basic demo training or they are spear heading route clearance operations. As for demolitions experts, kudos to them but when was the last time they really did any of that. You know those bridges that were blown up? You got it, not Sappers but Air Force pilots dropping bombs before any Sapper gets close. Indeed a hard course and respect the individuals that go through it but tired of them of "chruchin it up" as stated in Joe dirt. Unfortunately there job is slowly becoming out dated. This should be an interesting show non the less.

Engineer Attitude

I believe sapper crapper needs to learn how to spell first of all. Sappers are the elite of the engineer corps. They have been around for many years and will be around for many to come. Obviously the many stories of sappers blowing up weapon caches and kicking in doors with the rangers hasnt passed many peoples ears. But the truth is, the training they are doing on the show in not always the situation they will find themselves in. I agree with that, but the stressful environment and rigorous situations that you must endure during this high speed training is what our tough leaders of today are born. The combat engineer is one of the armys jack of all trades. He uses demo when needed, sets up bridging operations, calculates time and material for setting up and taking out obstacles and etc. These sapper leaders are the soldiers added to spec ops teams when they are short for a mission. They will gladly pick up a sapper than some average infintry soldier. That is why sappers must be prepared for all situations. Engineers in general are relied upon just as much as the medics. That is why it has always been said Engineers Lead The Way!

Producers of "NCIS" understand that military-based television drama will always have good ratings, which will in turn shine a positive light over the U.S. Navy. Stuntmen, cameramen, actors, directors, sound techs, makeup artists, gaffers and producers all have their share of making sure that "NCIS" appears to be as realistic as possible. A lot of planning is involved in making an episode.
