WOMEN IN THE ARMY

Integration is a very used word nowadays, in a world fighting for equal rights it is only fair that women and men have the same rights. But in the old days, it was not like that, women had fewer rights than men and being able to join the army, was out of saying if you were born as a girl. However, that didn’t stop women from participating in the battles, some of them used to disguise themselves as men, using the same army textiles or armors to not be discovered. It wasn’t until WW1 that women were accepted as part of the army, the reason? There must be a lot of reasons, not enough men enlisting,  the needed of bigger troops, and the list goes on. But we can be sure about something, army girls are as brave and strong as male soldiers.
